On June 12, 2023, the Regulatory Body received a notification for a new passenger transport service Schaerbeek-Paris Nord and vice versa from SNCB. The Regulatory Body decided on august 9, 2023, that the notified service did not fall within the scope of the legislation on the economic equilibrium and was therefore without object. Access to railroad infrastructure as provided for in Article 5, ยง 1 of the Railway Act is not restricted for the notified service. This decision D-2023-03-S can be consulted here (in Dutch only).
